PFC circuit upgrade improves efficiency and grid tolerance

Grid voltage in parts of India fluctuates through the day. The engineering team has revised the PFC stage used across the charger range to improve power factor and reduce harmonic distortion.

In field conditions with wide voltage swings, the updated design holds output steady, runs cooler and draws current more evenly. Efficiency and thermal headroom both improve, which helps battery and charger life.

Updated boards keep the original mounting dimensions, so existing installations can be replaced without mechanical changes. Upgrade kits are available on request.
